Tampa Bay Water is the wholesale drinking water supplier to its member governments, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties and the cities of St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, and Tampa. In turn, these Member Governments provide this drinking water to more than 2.4 million people in the tri-county region. Tampa Bay Water’s Master Water Plan must be updated every five years to meet the projected needs of the Member Governments for the next 20 years. To accomplish this objective, Tampa Bay Water must continually identify, plan, permit, design and construct environmentally sound and sustainable water supply projects.
Tampa Bay Water is currently in the process of updating its Long-Term Water Supply Plan of the Master Water Plan.
